Pharmacies across the country will be closed for three days next week due to a strike by employees. The strike will take place on Monday, December 23, Tuesday, December 24, and Friday, December 27.
Since Wednesday and Thursday are Christmas, many public pharmacies will remain closed for the entire Christmas week, according to unions FNV and CNV. This marks the second nationwide pharmacy strike, following one on November 12, when approximately 10,000 employees gathered at the Malieveld in The Hague.
