Work-life balance outweighs salary globally

For many years, international research by recruitment company Randstad has shown that people value a good work-life balance. However, in the 22 years of conducting this research, last year marked the first time respondents ranked work-life balance as more important than salary.

A good balance was cited as important by 83% of over 26,000 respondents in 35 countries, a percentage matched by job security, while salary was slightly less important at 82%.
