Winter storm disrupts US, UK, and Germany

In the Netherlands, winter precipitation was brief, but abroad, snow and ice are causing more issues. Millions of Americans are experiencing the first winter storm of the year, which might bring the heaviest snowfall in over a decade, according to the NOAA via CNN.

An estimated 60 million Americans are facing snowstorms, freezing rain, and winds up to 80 km/h. The storm is currently moving across the central United States, heading eastward, with the East Coast expected to be affected.

Meteorologist Ryan Maue told the BBC that it will be a mess, something not seen in a long time.
