Wildfires in Los Angeles: International Aid Mobilized

Governor Newsom reports that over 14,000 responders are working to control wildfires in and around Los Angeles. Nine other U.S. states have sent assistance to California, along with international help.

Mexico has dispatched over 70 firefighters and other personnel to LA, while Canada has sent 250 firefighters and firefighting vehicles. Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau expressed support, stating, “Canada is here to help,” on X. U.S. military forces are also prepared to assist, according to FEMA’s head on ABC News.
