Two Dutchmen killed in avalanche near Davos

Two Dutch men, aged 35 and 31, died in an avalanche near Davos, according to Swiss police. They were on a guided ski tour when two consecutive avalanches occurred at an altitude of nearly 2,800 meters, burying them completely.

Despite carrying avalanche airbags and beacons, they were found deceased. The rescue and recovery operation involved two helicopters and searchers with two avalanche dogs.

Police and judicial authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
