Trump appoints Alina Habba as presidential adviser

The upcoming President of the United States, Donald Trump, has appointed his personal attorney Alina Habba as a presidential adviser, which he announced on Truth Social. Habba, who is currently Trump’s spokesperson for legal matters, often accompanied him during his presidential campaign.

Trump commends Habba, 40, for her “unwavering loyalty” in his legal team across several cases against him, describing her as a “tireless advocate for justice.” In May, Trump became the first former U.S. president to be found guilty in a criminal case. A jury determined that he was guilty of document forgery related to the 2016 presidential election.

Last month, Habba told Fox News she was not interested in the press secretary role, stating she would be better suited for another position. During Trump’s first term, the role of presidential adviser was held by Kellyanne Conway.
