In the southern part of Amsterdam and around Schiphol, various railway issues are affecting train services. The Dutch Railways (NS) reports both a power outage and a signal failure near Schiphol Airport.
According to the NS website, many trains at Schiphol and Amsterdam Zuid stations are not operating this morning. No trains are running between Schiphol and Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena due to a power failure, and there are fewer trains between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Schiphol due to a signal failure.
The power outage is expected to last until 9:00 AM, while the signal failure is anticipated to cause issues until shortly after 11:00 AM. Travelers are advised to use the metro between Duivendrecht, Amsterdam RAI, and Amsterdam Zuid.
