Swedish PM Suggests Foreign Involvement in Activist’s Murder

Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson has indicated potential foreign involvement in the murder of anti-Quran activist Salwan Momika. The 38-year-old Iraqi refugee was shot dead yesterday at a residence in Södertälje, near Stockholm.

At the time, he was live on TikTok, although the shooting itself was only audible. Five individuals have been arrested so far, but police have not confirmed if the shooter is among them.

Kristersson assured that security services are deeply engaged in the investigation due to the possibility of foreign connections. Deputy Prime Minister Busch described the murder as a “threat to our free democracy,” urging a robust societal response.
