Storm disrupts over 100 flights at Schiphol

Schiphol Airport has canceled more than 100 flights due to strong winds from Storm Darragh, which is expected to impact air traffic. The Dutch meteorological institute, KNMI, has issued a yellow weather warning for most of the country, except North Brabant and Limburg, due to severe gusts.

These winds, reaching 75-90 km/h in the west and northwest, and up to 100-120 km/h in the Wadden area, could affect traffic, particularly cyclists and drivers of trucks and trailers. Travelers using Schiphol are advised to check flight updates or contact their airlines.

Meteorologists also anticipate a potential twin storm, which may bring more severe weather, particularly in southern regions, on Saturday morning.
