Rotterdam pizzeria targeted by gunfire after previous explosions

A pizzeria in Rotterdam was shot at overnight, with the incident occurring around 3:30 a.m. No injuries were reported, but a window was damaged.

No arrests have been made. Last October, the same location on Vuurplaat was targeted by three explosions in one week.

Three 15-year-olds were arrested in connection with those attacks, according to Rijnmond. The motive behind the attacks and their potential connection remains unclear.

The regional broadcaster notes that the recent shooting is notable because the pizzeria was declared bankrupt a few weeks ago.
