Rescue workers searched throughout the night for potential victims at the collapsed building in The Hague but found no one. A fire department spokesperson stated that operations would continue.
It remains unclear how many more people are being sought or if there are more victims. Excavators removed large debris overnight in search of victims and clues about the explosion.
Some personal items, like a teddy bear, a bag, and papers, were recovered. The explosion yesterday at around 06:15 on Tarwekamp killed at least five people and injured four others.
Five apartments were destroyed, and nineteen residences were damaged. By last evening, the fifth fatality had been retrieved from the rubble, with four bodies already recovered.
