The Public Prosecution Service has demanded a nine-year prison sentence for 47-year-old Fred K. from Boekel. The prosecutor claims that K. engaged in widespread abuse for years, with his daughter and niece among the victims.
He also persuaded dozens of girls to send sexually explicit photos via Snapchat. Allegations surfaced in the winter of 2014/2015 when his niece moved in with him, reportedly leading to multiple instances of rape.
She was 18 but highly vulnerable, according to the prosecutor. After moving out, the abuse allegedly shifted to his daughter, starting when she was nine until she was thirteen.
The niece reported a concerning incident in 2017, but no action was taken at that time. Following his daughter’s departure, K. allegedly engaged in online abuse, posing as a teenager to coerce girls into sending explicit content.
After his arrest in May 2023, police found 43 folders with girls’ names on a USB stick, containing thousands of images and videos. Fourteen victims were identified in the charges, and evidence suggests K. pressured them into sexual acts.
K. is deemed fully accountable and should undergo treatment for his pedophilic disorder. The prosecution also seeks a ban on contact with minors.
K. denies abusing his niece and daughter, claiming there is no evidence, but admits to the online misconduct. The court will issue a verdict on February 17.
