Prosecution demands 25-year sentences for honor killing

The prosecution has demanded 25-year prison sentences for four suspects involved in the murder of a 28-year-old woman in Apeldoorn. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the murder was committed as an honor killing.

In September 2023, Roshin was fatally stabbed in the presence of her young daughter on the street. The main suspect is Peshang A. (36), the victim’s brother.

Three other suspects, including another brother and two cousins of A., are accused of planning the murder. One of the cousins was also the victim’s ex-partner.
