NPO Radio 2 Top 2000 Unites Audiences in 2024

NPO Radio 2’s Top 2000 begins today, bringing together listeners through a blend of classic hits, tributes, and new entries. The list sees Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the top for the 21st time, with “Hotel California” by the Eagles and “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin maintaining their long-standing popularity.

Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” dropped from the top 10, replaced by Dermot Kennedy’s “Better Days,” which gained significant votes following the passing of 26-year-old Instagrammer Eva Hermans-Kroot, who shared her cancer journey. The song was her favorite, prompting many to vote for it.
