One of the alleged victims of Marius Borg Høiby, the stepson of Norway’s Crown Princess, denies being raped, according to her lawyer speaking to the Norwegian newspaper VG. The police initiated a case upon discovering video evidence of alleged criminal conduct.
However, the lawyer asserts there is no criminal activity. “The police define this as rape without intercourse.
She does not feel she was raped by Høiby.” He is suspected of two rapes and several instances of psychological and physical abuse. Høiby was arrested last month but released a week later.
He was issued a restraining order against multiple alleged victims. The woman who denies being raped also seeks to lift the restraining order, as her lawyer states she and Høiby are friends.
Høiby is the stepson of Crown Prince Haakon and does not hold a royal title, being from a previous relationship of Haakon’s wife, Mette-Marit.
