A man discovered deceased in a basement hallway in Amsterdam yesterday morning was killed by gunfire, according to police reports. The victim was identified as a 33-year-old resident of Amsterdam.
The body was found by a local resident in a basement corridor of a residential complex on Clauskindereweg, reported local broadcaster AT5. Investigators initially suspected foul play.
It remains unclear how long the man had been there before being discovered. The resident who found the man was assisted by officers and offered victim support services.
