Major fire at Goes business park continues to rage

A large fire has been burning at a business park in Goes since yesterday afternoon. The blaze started around 3:30 PM at a company specializing in electronics repairs, quickly engulfing the roof.

While the fire seemed under control last night, flames have reignited this morning, producing significant smoke plumes over the area. According to Omroep Zeeland, firefighting efforts are hindered by insulation materials in the building.

Due to the intensity of the fire, firefighters can only operate from outside. A fire-extinguishing robot has been deployed, but collapsed shelving and other obstacles have limited its reach.

At the time the fire broke out, employees were inside but managed to evacuate safely. No injuries have been reported.
