Cabaret performer and presenter Lisa Loeb has filed a police report after receiving a death threat following her appearance on the TV show “De slimste mens.” This information has been confirmed by her management. Loeb informed press agency ANP that she does not wish to comment further on the report.
Last week, Loeb announced in the AD newspaper her intention to report the threat. “It’s very cool to say it doesn’t affect me.
But it does. It’s a fun show, and you want to make entertaining television.
It’s a shame you receive so much negativity,” she stated. Loeb delayed filing the report, seeking police advice first.
“This is my first time, so I asked the police for guidance. They advised me to proceed, to ensure it is documented.” Loeb currently tops the leaderboard in this season of “De slimste mens,” meaning she will return to television during the finale week.
Earlier this week, broadcaster KRO-NCRV expressed being “shocked” by the death threat, describing it as “deeply saddening” and expressing hope that the police take the report seriously.
