Guinean suspect detained after fatal and non-fatal stabbings

German police have arrested a 24-year-old Guinean man suspected of killing a man earlier this month and stabbing a woman over the past weekend. Reports indicate that the suspect is a rejected asylum seeker who was supposed to be deported.

Both victims were housemates of the suspect in Beelitz-Heilstätten, approximately 30 kilometers from Berlin. The suspect allegedly attacked both victims at home with a knife.
