A fatal explosion in The Hague has resulted in at least one death, according to Mayor Jan van Zanen. The identity of the deceased remains unknown, and search efforts for other victims are ongoing.
Three injured individuals have been hospitalized. Mayor van Zanen indicated that the rescue operation is transitioning into a recovery operation, which will continue through the night.
Two meetings are scheduled for this evening: one for those directly affected and another for local residents. The mayor stated there were no prior indications of issues in the area.
