Explosive Devices Safely Detonated in Zoetermeer; Two Arrested

In Zoetermeer, explosive devices found in a car were safely detonated by authorities overnight. Two suspects have been arrested.

The police received a report of a suspicious situation around midnight and cordoned off the area before involving the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD). Footage shows an EOD bomb expert removing the explosives from the vehicle, with ambulance personnel and firefighters present.

The explosives were weighed, transported to a safe location, and detonated at the Noord-Aa beach in Zoetermeer. The purpose of the explosives remains unclear and an investigation is ongoing.
