Erasmus Shooter Details Murder Plan in Court

This morning in the Rotterdam court, Fouad L., known as the Erasmus shooter, expressed his belief that he could have been a good doctor, stating, “It all went terribly wrong.” He is on trial for the murders of a teacher at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, his neighbor, and her 14-year-old daughter. The 33-year-old L. explained that he wanted to become a doctor since the age of five, began studying medicine in 2012, but felt obstructed by his teachers during his training, facing multiple suspensions.
