Elon Musk, already the wealthiest person on earth, has seen his fortune grow beyond $400 billion, reports Bloomberg. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index estimates Musk’s net worth at $447 billion.
Jeff Bezos ranks second with $249 billion. Martijn Rozemuller, CEO of VanEck, commends Musk for earning much of his wealth independently, highlighting his entrepreneurial success.
Tesla’s rising stock, partly due to Musk’s investment in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, has contributed to his wealth. Additionally, Musk’s frequent media presence boosts his personal brand.
SpaceX, another of Musk’s ventures, is valued at around $350 billion, making it the most valuable privately-held company. However, Rozemuller notes that not all Musk’s investments succeed, citing social media platform X’s challenges.
He warns of the risks associated with Musk’s growing power and influence.
