At least eleven people have died in a café fire in Hanoi, Vietnam. Police have arrested a 51-year-old man, suspected of starting the fire, as reported by the Ministry of Security.
According to the ministry, the suspect admitted to the crime. He allegedly drank beer at the café and had an altercation with staff.
The cause of the dispute is unclear. The suspect then bought gasoline, poured it on the first floor of the café where motorcycles were parked, and started the fire.
After the act, he fled but was later apprehended by officers. The suspect has two prior convictions for theft and is now charged with murder.
Rescuers managed to save seven people from the burning building, two of whom were hospitalized.
