Dutch Prosecutors Demand 30-Year Sentence for Rotterdam Shooter

The Public Prosecution Service is seeking a 30-year prison sentence and compulsory psychiatric treatment for Erasmus shooter Fouad L. The 33-year-old former medical student has admitted to killing three people in Rotterdam in 2023. At the end of September 2023, three individuals were killed in two shooting incidents.

The 39-year-old Marlous and her 14-year-old daughter Romy were shot in their home in the Delfshaven district. They lived next to Fouad L., who was training to become a doctor.
