Driver Turns Himself In After Incident in Eindhoven

The driver who struck a group of people twice in Eindhoven on Wednesday afternoon has turned himself in to the police. The individual is a 25-year-old man from Belgium and is currently in custody, according to the police.

The incident occurred on Willemstraat, reportedly near a coffee shop, as stated by Omroep Brabant. A conflict is believed to have preceded the collision.

Two individuals were injured: a 16-year-old girl from Teteringen and a 41-year-old man from Tilburg. Their current conditions are unknown.

Shortly after the incident, police arrested two other suspects. One is suspected of making threats, while the other was arrested for interfering with the apprehension of the first suspect.

The driver initially fled the scene. The police are still investigating the exact cause of the collision.
