The curators of the bankrupt household chain Blokker are engaged in discussions with several potential buyers, according to the first report by the curator. Blokker has outstanding debts exceeding 90 million euros, including a tax debt of 26 million euros.
Over 30 potential buyers have expressed interest, and around 40 additional parties have been approached about a possible acquisition. Less than half of these interested parties have reviewed the retailer’s financial details, and several have shown concrete interest.
The curators will reveal in the next bankruptcy report whether a restart is possible and identify the acquirer if applicable.
