Claude will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. Selected from 331 entries, including notable artists like Anouk and Gerard Joling, Claude will perform at the event.
Initially, there was uncertainty about AVROTROS’s participation following Joost Klein’s disqualification at this year’s final in Malmö. After discussions with the EBU in October, AVROTROS decided to participate again, with the EBU implementing changes such as a code of conduct and restrictions on filming in backstage areas.
Klein declined AVROTROS’s offer to participate in Basel.
