Car bomb explosion in Syria’s Manbij claims 19 lives

Nineteen people have died in a car bomb explosion in northern Syria, marking the seventh such incident in over a month and the deadliest since the fall of the Assad regime. Eighteen of the victims were women, identified as agricultural workers, according to emergency services.

The vehicle was parked by the roadside, a witness told Reuters. All fifteen injured individuals are also women, and the death toll is expected to rise.
