Bus accident in Norway results in fatalities

On the E10 highway in northern Norway, at least three people have died after a bus veered off the road and partially ended up in a lake. The vehicle was a public bus with 58 people on board, according to Norwegian rescue services, including foreign tourists.

The incident occurred near Hadsel. All individuals have been removed from the bus, and some passengers have been evacuated to a nearby school.

At least three persons have been taken to the hospital. Rescue operations are being hindered by severe weather conditions at the accident site.

A nearby hospital has activated an emergency plan, with additional staff, ambulances, and helicopters called in to transport the injured to the hospital.
