Blokker franchisees optimistic after chain’s collapse

Ronald Mol, a Blokker franchisee from Roosendaal, is optimistic about the future of his store, despite the household chain’s collapse earlier this year. All Blokker stores closed, except for 41 franchise-operated locations.

Mol is considering opening a new store, noting that setting up is now more affordable. Franchisee Esther Heinen from Spakenburg expanded her store last year and reports increased customer traffic, as some travel further to visit the remaining Blokker locations.
