Amsterdam man arrested in Rotterdam shootings case

Police have arrested a 20-year-old man from Amsterdam suspected of involvement in two recent fatal shooting incidents in Rotterdam. His exact role in the incidents remains unclear, according to the police.

The shootings occurred last week on the Reyerdijk and yesterday evening on the Roelantpad, both in Rotterdam-Zuid. In each case, the victims, aged 58 and 63, were found seriously injured and later died in the hospital.

Police emphasize that it is possible the arrested man is not the actual shooter. Further arrests have not been ruled out, and the motive for the shootings is still unknown.
